Making shoes or making clothes? Which would sell better?

Two seperate kinds of fashion business. One deals with clothes and the other deals with shoes. Which of them do you think would have more sales in your city? For mine, making clothes is more lucrative but making shoes is also very popular too.

I believe that the clothes business would do better than the clothes business in terms of frequency of sales and volume of sales.

It generally depends on other factors aside just general lifestyle. It would hinge more on the nature of the target market. But the odds favour clothes.

It depends in your location , occasion and target market. During closing programs in schools, kids need new shoes . That's the time that shoes will be in demand. For clothes, its usually in great demand at the beginning of the school year so both are highly recognized by buyers.

I think in general, clothing business can make more sales. Shoe businesses can also be lucrative as a lot of women love to buy shoes.

Both are extremely lucrative and would sell well if done correctly. What you need to consider is your location. What is needed more.

Here, starting a clothing business is a better idea. You can create garments for both children and adults. Only a few people regularly buy new shoes. Most wait until their favorite pair is worn out.

Making shoes is very lucrative but people don't seem to notice it. Our shoes tend to wear out more faster than our clothes. A shoemaker always have more persons whose shoe has cut leaving them stranded but it is not so for the other.

In contrast, ladies like me buy five clothes before we buy one shoe. The thing is that a single shoe can go with many clothes.
