At the end of the day, our satisfaction and confidence should come from within, not from the opinions of others. It's important to remember that no one owes us validation through our money or our lifestyle. That only creates unnecessary pressure and can lead to financial problems if done compulsively. The real priority should be managing our finances, spending on what we truly need, or on experiences that bring us personal value. It's not worth going into debt or spending on superficial things just to impress others, because that validation is fleeting and doesn't build solid self-esteem. The truth is that if someone can't find a reason to love you beyond the money your spend, you are at the losing end in that kind of friendship.
