That's why deciding to have children when both spouses are unemployed (it's a mishap happening in my country) isn't that big deal...whether they want to or not, from school to food, clothing, etc.
...to not talk about unexpected (well, not so unexpected, as it turned praxis) expenses related to a new scholar activity (for ex., the purchasing of a cosplay to perform a piece for the school theatre). And then other expenses come: funding for the headmaster birthday, the Teacher Day, a party at a school-mate's house, etc., etc., etc.The school going kids most especially need a lot of money for their commutace and breakfast plus money for lunch and upkeep expenses for that matter.
Not so unexpected, I would say: little children are very prone to get sick (they easily get a cold, especially when they attend a kindergarten). That's why such expenses should be considered before planning a pregnancy.Unexpected expenses: Broken toys, sick days, or unexpected illnesses can also lead to unplanned spending.

There are children who get a cold or a 'flu every month (it mostly happens among European countries). Parents don't know when their little children will get a cold, but they know it will happen, sooner or later.Yeah they don't happened all the time that's why it is unexpected when it just happened boom from no where
