On May 17, Israeli protesters in Tel Aviv blocked roads and demanded an end to the Gaza war and the release of hostages. Meanwhile, Israel and Hamas resumed ceasefire talks in Qatar. Despite negotiations, Israel intensified airstrikes in Gaza, killing hundreds over 72 hours, and began mobilizing troops for a major ground offensive aimed at gaining "operational control" in parts of the territory, according to the Israeli military.

These protesters do not understand why PM Netanyahu continues attacking the terrorists. The terrorists refuse to return the Israeli hostages.
