Nowadays children are getting exposed to lot of stuffs on the TV which is affecting their psychology. Sometimes a thriller just agitates a youth to kill, rape or rob just to experience the feeling of doing a crime of just for sadistic pleasure. No doubt the youth today is becoming more materialistic and less empathetic.

Many young people today are exposed to violent or extreme content on TV. Sometimes, thrillers or graphic shows can encourage curiosity about dangerous behavior. Coupled with increasing materialism, this reduces empathy and heightens risk. Monitoring viewing habits, guiding discussions, and teaching critical thinking can help youth process media safely and prevent harmful influence on their attitudes or choices.

so first of all, when you state “media”, for me it implies that you are talking about the social media-although there can be more categories for media.

Therefore, according to me, not only does the social media have negative implications on how we view ourselves and the world around us, but it can also carry some positive implications.
