Approximately half of Nigeria's more than 200 million people are connected to a national power system, which cannot deliver adequate daily electricity to the majority of those connected. Many poor rural settlements, such as Olodo Okin, are completely off the grid.

In a country with plenty of sunshine, many people are turning to solar energy to help fill in the gaps, but getting investors who are afraid of risk to fund large solar projects that would provide Nigeria with enough reliable energy is difficult.

That is a pity to some Nigerians who are deprived of their rights to live with a perfect society where current is all the time available. Those investors must not be afraid to help the Nigerians.

I also think how do they love without electricity. It's hard to live without it these days.

I already knew about their problems of current off and on in Nigeria from the Nigerian members here. They suffer double due to index heat. There's no current to satisfy their feelings through fans because there's no electricity. That's worrisome to the max.
