Ayabonga Mjilo, a missing 21-year-old woman, , was found murdered and buried in a shallow grave in eNanda, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.



Mjilo was reported missing on Monday, 23 December 2024, after she was last seen leaving a restaurant in Umhlanga, KZN on Christmas Day.


A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and murder of Mjilo. Netshuunda said the woman was last seen leaving a restaurant in Umhlanga with a male companion in the early hours of December 25,2024 and a case of kidnapping was opened after she did not return home.
