Moldova’s president open to reunification with Romania

Moldova’s president stated she would vote in favor of reunification with Romania if a referendum were held. For me, the most relevant aspect is the historical weight of such a decision. Personally, I think it’s fascinating how identity politics resurface in Eastern Europe. What surprises me is her openness despite regional tensions. For me, the most important step is dialogue. In the end, I believe this possibility could reshape Romania’s geopolitical role in the EU.
