Mom Charged with Murder as Beaten Baby Dies in Hospital

According to the report, a three-year-old Dawson Zamora, who had been on life support for weeks after allegedly being brutally abused by his mother’s boyfriend, has now died, turning the case into an alleged murder.

The report stated that investigators say Dawson suffered severe, repeated injuries, and newly revealed text messages suggest his mother, Chelsea Berg, knew her boyfriend was harming the child, yet continued to leave Dawson in his care.

The report added that with Dawson’s death, Berg has been charged with capital murder, while the boyfriend remains jailed on multiple charges as the investigation deepens.

I don’t understand why the mother did not just let the dad take custody and protect her child. I hope they get the death penalty. The boyfriend has an evil heart, and the om was carried away by the lies of her criminal boyfriend. They can never escape the law.

The mom was well aware of the abuse of her boyfriend towards her baby, but she only ignored it until the day came that the baby was sent to the hospital, where she died after some days. The two of them are now in prison. Her boyfriend will serve his crime for life.
