According to the report, Kristel Candelario, the mother of 10-month-old Jailyn, left her child alone at home while she went on a 10-day summer vacation in Puerto Rico with an unidentified man.
The report said that the neighbors ignored Jailyn’s cries for help, as she was left with only a few bottles of milk in a playpen and nothing else. The state in which the child was found brought authorities to tears, as the scene was both shocking and tragic.
