About 90 people including children have died on an overcrowded makeshift ferry in north coast of Mozambique. Some of the passengers onboard were trying to escape the mainland because of a panic caused by disinformation about cholera.

The makeshift boat, carrying about 130 people, faced problem when it tried to reach an island off Nampula province. The boat being overcrowded and unsuited to carry passengers, ended up sinking. About 91 people died including children. However,
Rescuers had found five survivors and were searching for more.

Sad news!

Government should have taken the step to move people to the safe place if cholera was spreading there.
Yes,this would have been the right thing to do whether the information was right or wrong than the citizens trying to flee and then dying.
