Most grocery businesses are closing here in my location

I really don't get that in my vicinity. Most grocery kind of businesses are closing down businesses. The reason being the lack of sufficient market. The businesses are so much compared to the consumers here.

That's what happens when there's more supply than demand there will always be surplus which will
Lead to closure

That is dangerous if number of vendors keeps closing shops. If number of vendors exceeds number of buyers, profits are lost and the vendor may lose his entire store in the street. Business requires smart calculations.

I believe there should be a reason why customers are no longer there. Is it that the customers are relocating, or are they simply doing something wrong?
