According to the report, a motorcyclist suspected of shooting a sheriff's deputy to death before crashing during a freeway pursuit is still at large. San Bernardino County Sheriff Shannon Dicus identified the deputy who was killed and offered new information about the crash. The suspect was allegedly wanted in connection with a possible domestic violence incident in Rancho Cucamonga.

The report also stated that one of the responding deputies, Andrew Nuñez, was shot and killed at the Rancho Cucamonga scene. The suspect then took off from the scene on a motorcycle around 1:30 p.m., prompting a deputy to chase. The suspect, on a motorcycle, hit triple-digit speeds on the 210 Freeway and drove in the wrong direction into oncoming traffic multiple times. The deputy shot to death has been identified as Andrew Nuñez.

In addition, the extent of the suspect's injuries is unknown. The suspect was transported to local hospitals for treatment and was seen sitting up in a neck brace and surrounded by authorities. His charges will be declared once he is fit for the investigation.

This is truly a very serious and dangerous situation. The idea that an armed suspect, possibly involved in domestic violence, is still at large after killing an officer during a chase is deeply concerning. The bravery of officers, like Officer Nuñez, who risked their lives in the attempt to stop him is admirable. However, it is also alarming how the suspect drove at extreme speeds and in the wrong direction on the freeway, endangering everyone on the road. I hope authorities can capture the suspect and that he receives the justice he deserves. I also hope they can fully clarify the circumstances and the suspect's injuries, to better understand the situation. A loss as tragic as Nuñez's should never happen, and it is important that justice be served.

There are many crimes committed in the USA from shooting to killing children by their own moms and eliminating the drug cartels. It's an overwhelming thing and it seems hard to control and eliminate the criminals.
