According to the report, the town of Pokrovsk in Yakutia, home to just over ten thousand people, has declared three days of mourning. The reason for this was the massive losses among mobilized Yakut soldiers who died near Pokrovsk, Ukraine. Information about this appeared in local public groups. The plane brought home about two hundred bodies, and for such a small town, this is practically a generational loss. Russian authorities are traditionally silent. Official media outlets have not reported the death toll or the cause of the tragedy. Local public groups have spread the information, noting that the losses occurred in a short period of time.

The report also stated that mourning has been declared on the birthday of dictator Vladimir Putin, the man who unleashed the war and sent the inhabitants of Russia's most remote regions to slaughter. Yakutia is more than 5,000 kilometers from Ukraine, but it is from there that the Kremlin is gathering "cannon fodder" for the invasion. Moscow continues to use the national republics as a reservoir for mobilization, avoiding losses among the population of Russia's major cities. Now, the small town of Pokrovsk, where almost every family has lost someone, has become yet another example of how Putin's war is destroying entire regions of Russia. Those who flew thousands of kilometers to kill Ukrainians returned home in zinc coffins, and that's the only thing they "brought back" from Ukraine.

Those soldiers miscalculated the strength of the Ukrainian soldiers. They were defeated because of their weak assumptions. May these 200 Russian soldiers rest in peace. My heart sinks at this. Putin should stop the war. He is a ruthless leader, inhumane
