I prefer to use a mouse with a laptop, yet I find that the mouse does not work when connected to the laptop usb port. The mouse is working with other computers. What could be the reason why the mouse stopped working ?

If it's working with other computers, have you checked if your laptop's usb port is working well, or you trying connecting something else there first.
I think the mouse is not compatible with the laptop generation for sure.
I think that the USB port most likely has a problem that needs to be resolved first. Have you tried another port?

It seems there may be an issue with all the USB ports on your laptop. It's best to have a computer technician check it. I hope it gets resolved soon.
