My basic phone got into water

So l had my small basic phone got into a bucket full of water accidentally the other day. I immediately took it out and dismantled the battery and the SIM cards. I then put the phone on sun for dry up. Unfortunately its now displaying a white screen and lights the torch only . It does not function any longer. What is your take on that?

Did you leave it long enough under the sun? Maybe the phone did not dry properly. You can ask a repair man if it can be repaired.

The phone displays a while screen. It doesn't sense SIM card. It only lights the torch because it has separate button or switch.

There are small parts of the phone that got wet and they are very sensitive. They will be reprogrammed by a mobile phone technician. Bring it to your nearest cellulose phone repair shop. It's LCD might have been damaged.

Water has entered the sensitive parts of the phone to make it not able to function again. Just forget about the phone.

Try drying the phone for a few more days, it may take a longer time for all the moisture and water in the phone to evaporate, if the phone is not required urgently.
