I got speaking with my laundry man today. He said that he makes about $100 on Sunday mornings between the hours of 6AM to 9AM. The rest of the week, he makes less than $20. That means he literally makes all the money for a week week in few hours.

Does it happen like that for laundry services in your country?

Not sure how it works with most of the people into lundary business here though, but i believe it's very possible for them like this as well. There might be day where they make more money.

That's really interesting, and I can see how that pattern makes sense. In a lot of places, people batch their chores and errands around the weekend, so demand spikes heavily in those windows. For laundry services especially, Sunday morning is prime time, everyone wants their clothes fresh for the week ahead. It's not unusual for small businesses to rely on a few peak hours or days to cover most of their revenue.

The tricky part is figuring out how to smooth out the demand throughout the week or to make those off-peak days profitable with add-on services

Every business has it's peak days of sales. My business has from Thursday to Saturdays as peak days. Street grocery shops have peak days on Saturdays.

Absolutely, and one has to understand those days and has to make out full from those days.

The laundry business is popular in our country, and many are earning well. It's best to set up your laundry business near major establishments. Here, laundry businesses thrive since they are close to schools, malls, hospitals, etc
