The leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress has threatened to embark on a nationwide strike if the police proceeds with detaining its President, Comrade Joe Ajaero

The threat was made on ioday at the NLC headquarters following an urgent National Executive Council (NEC) meeting. The meeting was convened hours after the Nigeria Police invited Comrade Ajaero for questioning in connection with allegations of terrorism financing.

Comrade Ado Kabiru Sani, the Deputy President of the NLC, urged the nation’s workforce to remain prepared for further instructions. He emphasised that if the police take action they will go on nationwide strike

Well anyways your protest there was over and your government signed an increase of 70 000 naira money. Hoping your government hears the cry of the prople in your country.
Yes the people are not relenting we just have to be on our toes to let the president know that we just want the best for ourselves

A nation wide strike is inevitable when the people feel the extreme sufferings for not being heard by the president. It is also human rights to protest to be heard widely even abroad. It's a normal thing if it's too much for the people to bear.
