After the government was toppled by violent anti-corruption protests, Sushila Karki, a former chief justice of Nepal's Supreme Court, was appointed as the country's acting prime minister. After striking an agreement with the protest leaders, Karki, 73, was sworn in during a short ceremony, becoming the first woman to head a suffering Himalayan nation. The social media ban that spurred this week's enormous rallies resulted in conflicts with riot police that killed over 50 people.

That's a good one, though time will tell if she is capable and fit for the position or not. Wishing her the best.

Yes, the time will tell if she would be able to rule the country peacefully.

But the acting Prime Minister is 73 years old, too old to administer it's country. Anyway, I hope she can neutralise the situation in Nepal. She might also have the capability to reform Nepal from the previous corrupt politicians.
