I never spend more than I earn. And I never borrow except I took out a mortgage loan when buying my apartment. And I use credit cards to get cashback. I always pay my credit card bills on time. Never paid any interest.

Borrowing money to spend because you are expecting money is an act of financial irresponsibility.

Yes, we should not spend money just to show off on social media. I know some people who do it. It does not make sense to me.
