New Exhibition "Vardar Dreaming" Opens at Museum of Contemporary Art
Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje launched a major exhibition titled "Vardar Dreaming," featuring works from its permanent collection that re-imagine the Vardar River as a cultural and mythological symbol. The exhibition includes paintings, installations, and video art from the 1960s to the present. Curator Sofija Mitrevska described it as "a dialogue between artists across generations about what the river means—a boundary, a life source, a metaphor for time." The exhibition will run until June 2026
