According to the report, the government approved a bill that would allow the Russian president to use reservists without declaring martial law and mobilization in counter-terrorist operations and military conflicts, including those abroad. This will allow up to 2 million people to be deployed for the army's needs. According to the bill, reservists will undergo special training camps to perform tasks in the field of defense for a period of no more than 2 months. Corresponding amendments will be made to the laws "On Military Duty and Military Service" and "On the Status of Military Personnel".

The changes apply only to citizens who have concluded on a voluntary basis a contract to stay in the reserve, and do not apply to those in the reserve, explained RBC deputy chairman of the board of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, Igor Cherepanov. At the same time, the tasks in which reservists will be involved can be very different - up to the Ukrainian front. The law has a clause on the use of the reserve outside Russia, and this applies, for example, to Sumy or Kharkiv regions - there are hostilities there, but they are de jure outside the country, said the head of the Duma's defense committee, Andrey Kartapolov.

These two million newly recruited soldiers will not suffice. Their training is so abrupt. Training requires months and years. They should not go to the front just to be killed for the sake of their evil leader, Putin. Vladimir Putin wants to be the biggest landowner in history. Soon, he will have the whole of Russia to himself.

Personally, I believe these measures demonstrate the gravity of the situation in Russia and the desperation of Putin's government. Allowing millions of reservists to be mobilized without adequate training suggests they are losing faith in their regular forces and are trying to fill their ranks at any cost. The idea that these reservists could be sent to conflict zones, even in Ukraine, with only two months of preparation is alarming. War requires well-trained and motivated soldiers, not hastily assembled troops who are likely to become easy targets. Furthermore, these actions reflect a war policy that prioritizes quantity over quality, which can result in more innocent casualties and increased instability. I believe this only demonstrates the lack of a real strategy and the growing desperation of the regime, which seeks to extend its control regardless of the human consequences.
