Report has it thet a newlywed Zimbabwean bride from Bulawayo, Sisasenkosi Mpofu, abandoned her husband on their wedding night to be with her secret lover.

The groom, Mbongeni Moyo, was reportedly left stunned as his wife left him to spend the night with Geshom Gwatiringa, a police officer stationed at Hillside Police Station.

Mpofu returned the next day without offering any explanation. Suspicious, Moyo, a church elder at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Iminyela branch, checked her phone and discovered intimate messages exchanged with Gwatiringa. Confronted with the evidence, Mpofu admitted to spending the night with her lover, which led to a heated argument.

Useless wife, betrayal. The guy married the wrong person. It should be better to know well the person's true color before getting into marriage. It was an insult on the part of the man. I hope he is not a moron to accept the cheater wife,.

Perhaps the lady was pressurized into marrying the man or she entered into the marriage because of material gain. It is very unfortunate that people will disgrace themselves because of mudane things. Marriage to a lot of women is simply a way to escape poverty.

It is true that this situation is very sad. Sometimes people enter into marriage not for love but for pressure or to seek wealth and financial security. It is a saying that haste is not blessed. Marriages that start for non-essential reasons often bring problems and respect is lost. Good relationships need a foundation of love, respect and clean communication rather than looking for a way to escape poverty.

That man just humiliated himself. I am sure he saw the signs that the lady was not really into him but still went ahead to marry her.
2 Corinthians 6:14 comes to mind here... "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

Applies to most parts of life, including marriage.
