it would be a good one for Nigeria’s basketball team as they would be jetting out to South Africa on Friday for the FIBA U-18 African Championship.

The country's Basketball Federation has announced.
a total of 24 players will represent the country at the championship.

I wish Nigeria team best of luck. It is quite impressive that Nigeria is engaging in other sports unlike before we are only interested in football. Now, Nigeria is taking over basketball and volleyball unlike before. Last Olympics, United States basketball team narrowly escaped defeat from Nigerian team!

Good luck to the team. Hope that they give their best performances out there and bring back accolades for the country. They are hope and pride for their country.
Basketball is not so popular here and I don't follow it much. But it's definitely picking popularity with the youngsters. My elder daughter was in basketball team in High school.
