President Bola Tinubu has officially signed the new national minimum wage bill into law. The signing ceremony took place during a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja yesterday,Monday, July 29.

The bill, was swiftly passed by both chambers of the National Assembly last week, marks a significant legislative milestone. Senate President Godswill Akpabio, along with other members of the National Assembly leadership, joined the FEC for this historic event.

It's funny how he made labour Congress accept this amount so the fuel of petroleum won't increase and now we are buying a liter of fuel for a thousand naira. @Starmix 70,000 naira is not even up to $50

Nah, that is a very small amount. Why is that so? Why not make it a $300 increase? Maybe your your country's economy is down so the government cannot make a huge increase.
