In Benin City, Nigeria Justice C.A. Obiozor of the Federal High Court has convicted and sentenced Osazee Kenneth Imagbenikaro for spraying naira notes.

He was convicted on a two count charge for spraying naira notes on Thursday May 16, 2024 contrary to Section 21(3) of the Central Bank of Nigeria and punishable under Section 21 (1) of the same Act

He pleaded guilty to the charge and the prosecution counsel, Francis Jirbo requested the court to convict and sentence him accordingly. Though the defence counsel prayed the court to temper justice with mercy.

The judge however, convicted and sentenced him to six months imprisonment on each of the count or a fine of N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand) each.

That man is nutty. It's banned even in my country to stain the money in bills how much more if burned. There's something on that man's coconut shell.
Hahaha yoi know people just want to be showing off that they have money now the law has got up with him.

That's good, people should stop abusing our currency. But government should pay more attention to rich and wealthy in our society who spread money on every occasion they attend. Moreover, the government should concentrate more on politicians that stole billions of naira than petty crimes.
