South Korean exchange Bithumb recently made a transfer error. Initially, Bithumb intended to only give a 2,000 Won (approximately $1.38) bonus and offer free trading fees to all its users. However, the error occurred. Bithumb transferred 2,000 BTC to all its users, making them instantly rich. The total BTC transferred to users was 620,000 BTC. Fortunately, no users had withdrawn the BTC to their wallets, so Bithumb was able to easily correct the error or withdraw the BTC from user accounts.
