Alhaji Abubakar Migandi Garima, who is the President of Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria as stated that they have been discussing with Dangote Refinery the pricing, margins and other issues with petroleum products.

Garima proposed the lifting price should be N550 per litre in Lagos.though the price to other part of Nigeria of the product will differ due to distance and cost of deliveries. So they are waiting for conclusion from Dangote Refinery as the belief is that locally refined petrol would be cheaper than imported petrol.

If they actually go through with this, though then it would be good news. At least it's better than the current price we have now. This is if filling stations will actually go through with it.

I don't see the pact going to be successful. Oil marketers will use every tactics to make sure that the price reduction will not succeed. Nigerians is the problem of Nigeria.

That's right we are the problem to ourselves. They just want to gain more for their selfish reasons. it's really sad
