Online shops should take responsibility of defective products.

I prepaid for the product, that's the problem. They don't want to return the money now and maybe want to give me a defective product once again.
How could it be possible? That's unlawful not giving back the money considering the item defective. It's scary to transact business online though. Just forget about it and move on.

That's why I always buy from reputable online retailers. If the item I bought is defective, they will refund or replace the item for sure.
That's the right thing to do. if you are buying online. Try to buy from well known sites that have something to lose

It's unlawful but some companies like Eureka Forbes are doing monopoly in India and their competitors AGARO is worse.

They have to if they want their business to blossom and not have customers give a bad review of their business
Even Flipkart and Amazon deliver wrong and defective products sometimes.
