According to the report, Ukrainian drones struck Rezonit Technopark, one of key Russian military-industrial complexes in the settlement of Zubovo in Russia’s Moscow region on the night leading to Thursday. The operation was carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, in coordination with other Defense Forces units. The targeted complex is involved in the mass-production and assembling of printed circuit boards and electronics used in the manufacture of Russia’s high-tech weapons and military equipment. “The Defense Forces continue to take all necessary measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian occupiers and force Russia to end its armed aggression against Ukraine,” the General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces said in a statement, adding that such attacks will continue. The results of the strike are being clarified.
The report also said that there has been no official statement in Kremlin about the Ukrainian military’s remarks. However, on morning June 12, Russian Defense Ministry claimed that its air defense forces had shot down destroyed 52 Ukrainian drones overnight across three Russian regions and occupied Crimea Peninsula. Of these 52 drones, some 41 were reportedly shot down over Russia’s Belgorod region, 6 over Bryansk region, 3 over the capital Moscow, and 2 over Crimea Peninsula. It should be noted that Ukrainian army has scaled up its missile and drone strikes on Russian military infrastructure in occupied territories of Ukraine and deep in Russia as well.
