When Bizdustry was functional,. it also has a paid membership for those who wanted to withdraw earnings. Currently, Forum Race has paid membership. I think it depends on value. When Bizdustry was functional it had a lot of paying members. Forum race has a Paid membership but it does not have a lot of members. Maybe the owner is not concerned about building userbase.

Forum Race is now integrated to Chat Addicts but still only a very few are active. I'm also not active despite the proposed contests. I'm busy at work and business. I'm now back to Admin Junkies. I will visit your site next day.

Forum Race has a small user base that are more loyal than those that were on Bizdustry at that time.

Like you said, it mainly depends on value. If the people are getting enough value, then they will definitely be willing to pay for paid membership, but then again the moment where they feel they no longer get value, that's the end.
