I have been working on adding more features to Paid Offers. Some are for my end of it. And some are the users.

All running Paid Offers will have to be over before updating to this new version. And nothing will be saved from the older version.

I have added a page called *Paid Offers Awaiting Fulfillment*, that users can look at and see what they applied for and have not done yet. Also have some new alerts to remind you when the Paid Offer is ending. Auto close Paid Offers when the required participants are filled.

For me, I have added auto thread when a new Paid Offer is created. And some much-needed logging functions. And a few more things to help move thing along.

I still have a few more things to add and then I need to test for a while. But it is coming along.

Very cool hopefully in due course it can be easier for people to create a paid offer without all the manual work and for those who have got one set up to see who is taking part and maybe a feedback page for those who have completed the paid offer.

I felt it was rather limited on my end when I had my Planet Discussions set up.

It is good the paid offers would be updated to give both client and workers more control. With that said, hope we would be having more paid offers going forward. The ones that we had recently have been completed pretty fast and on schedule.

This will not be released to the public as an addon. Will be DB only.
This is going to be a really nice feature, this way you can easily monitor your activities on the paid offer.
I am hoping it will work out that way.

We still get people applying and not doing the Paid Offer. I wanted to try and cut that down if possible. We will see what happen.

This is really the first release of many for the Paid Offer side of things.

But all paid offers so far are being completed within schedule. That's a big positive to build on.

We will see what happens when we have two or three bigger paid offers going on at once. And having those bigger offers be done in two weeks instead of four weeks. Also doing paid offers on a general forum is so much easier than doing them on say a car forum or sport forum.

I am even thinking about doing weekly paid offers. Having it automatically do it every week. As long as the week before is completed, it would start a new one.

Even you have applied for the Top the Leaderboard and are not finished yet. The downside is I can't tell right now when you applied to it. If I could and it was just yesterday, it is understandable why you are not done yet.

The new paid offers are going to alert users every three days until the offer ends, or you finish the offer.

I want to expand into blog comments too. Not sure how many of you are into blogging.

Blog comments are also okay, the most important thing is you have an understanding of what you are about to comment on.

That had nothing to do with what I said.
Then what did have to do with? Because people will not be creating paid offers here on DB. I will be the only one that will be creating. And I never said people will be seeing who is taking part. Part of this is some do not want their business in public.

To order a paid offer isn't going to change much. I would like some sort of order form for it at some point. Me posting a topic a few days before the paid offer goes live is nice. Let's people know that it is coming. Building the paid offer take a few to do. I’m thinking of tweaking the format slightly in a few places. But I don't want to change it too much. You are used to it one way, and then I change it on you. For the most part, things are not going to change as far as this goes.

Now a little feedback from the person ordering after the paid offer is done maybe a nice idea. If that is something they want to do. But it will not be to each person who did the paid offer. It would be the paid offer as a whole. Unless someone wants to give some feedback for each.

I am thinking of more stuff. I want to add a rule that will not allow for new user to apply to paid offers unless they have 5 or more posts on DB. A new user applies, it will reject them right out of the gate. Give a nice warning to the user.

Also try to add something so you have to upload two images to submit your finished offer. If you forget your start image, then you will have to start over. So, if you do 5 posts of 10 and forgot your start image, you will have to restart to take your startup image. So those first 5 posts are free at that point.

I hope this clears up a few things.

Makes sense now.
