The report added that the jailed Imran Khan also had another of his convictions overturned. Is the plan to ban the PTI a desperate ploy by Pakistan's ruling establishment?

The Pakistan government should have known earlier to avoid the participation of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. It was not et known about the reaction of former Prime Minister Imran Khan of his banning .

I was always not in favour of Imran Khan being a PM of Pakistan. He was a good sportsman but politics is a different field for him. His wife is too religious and when you involve religion in the politics you may get votes not cannot make a country grow with it. For the growth of the country you must keep religion aside.

The government knows better if they feel the best bet is to ban the party so be it. it would be better that way
That is right, every government knows what is best for the country. If there is a scalawag, he or she must be removed from the post.
