According to the report, Police say a mother’s 911 call about her 7-year-old stepdaughter having a seizure was a cover story for days of brutal abuse that left the child with catastrophic brain damage.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the stepmother allegedly confessed to violent beatings, including striking the girl with a hammer, while the father admitted he witnessed the abuse and did nothing to stop it. Both Jennifer Revis and Ryan Revis are now facing serious felony charges.

The dad looks like a weak little worm. The woman looks evil. Poor little girl had no chance. How could a father allow someone to do this to his daughter?

It is truly heartbreaking to read about this situation. I cannot understand how a father can witness such abuse and not act to protect his own daughter. Ryan Revis's passive attitude is incomprehensible; in those circumstances, the least he could do was intervene or seek help immediately. The mother, Jennifer Revis, appears to have committed a horrific act without remorse, and it is reprehensible that she reached that level of violence. The child had no chance with parents who clearly failed in their duty to care for and protect her. I hope that justice is served and that this little girl can, at some point, heal and find an environment where she receives love and protection. No one deserves to go through something like this, and it is important that cases like this serve to raise awareness about the seriousness of child abuse and the need to be alert to signs of abuse.

As if the evil stepmom hammered a nail. She's heartless and demonic. This monster might be taking drugs. How could she do such crime to a young girl who will never experienced adulthood. It's the head of the girl that's hammered, so her brain are brutally damage. She might not survive. The father is also ruthless. At least the two of them are detained. May they rot in prison.

It hurts me too. I pity the 7-year-old child. She will not be able to enjoy life. She has not survived the brutal cause of a hammer being hammered by her stepmom on her head, affecting her brain. She was in a coma and died after sme hours. The biological mom should not have left her baby with her ruthless husband.
