I came across someone who always wanted to be a medical doctor, but due to various circumstances, he was not able to. Fast-forward to present time, he is happily married with children, but he ensured that two of his children are medical doctors. According to him, if he couldn't achieve that dream himself, then his children should be able to. Have you experienced something similar like this before?

It is common for many people to seek in their children the possibility of fulfilling a dream that they could not do. Sometimes that becomes a positive motivation that drives the family forward. It can also generate pressure, depending on how this expectation is transmitted. In my experience, I have seen cases where that inheritance of dreams ends up being a shared pride.
