Passport suddenly becomes invalid as id proof

I had submitted a photo of my passport as id proof to Payoneer and it accepted it in 2022 till December 2025. Now in January 2026, Payoneer is suddenly claiming that the passport is not valid proof and has not transferred the payment due to my bank account. What could be the reason why the passport id proof has suddenly become invalid?

May be you check on the lifespan for the passport. Most passports expire after a period of time.

The passport was issued less than 4 years and passports are valid for 10 years here. It appears that a powerful person is trying block payment for domain sales.
