According to the report, a shocking update in South Carolina, police say Donnie Ray Birchfield Jr., the son of a local pastor, is accused of holding four people captive in his basement for up to a decade, and has now been charged with murder and first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The report also stated that one victim, 49-year-old Shirley Arnsdorff, was found dead inside his home, while three others, including her husband, were rescued after enduring years of alleged abuse and control. Investigators also allege Birchfield exploited his victims financially, bringing the total number of charges against him to 18 as the disturbing case continues to unfold.

This criminal is truly cruel and evil. The 18 charges against him will lead this culprit to rot in jail. His father, a pastor, failed to recognize the wrongdoings of his criminal son. He'd better resign as a pastor; what a shame.
