That's worldwide, dear friend, less than the countries where there is no rich, no poor because their philosophy is too fair to let anyone having more than the others (Norway is the best example). I was born in a provincial city of a country claiming it was fighting discrimination, but I never saw a young man coming from, for ex., a family of doctors or accountants to marry the daughter of a couple of labourers. On the other hand, the labourers' daughter would have been despised, even rejected, by the upper social class of the fiancée, so I think she wouldn't have lost anything significant. In my country and l think that is something that the whole world wouldn't accept. Most of the rich and elite people tend to be very selfish enough to marry from rich families too.
