Tampering of receipt is considered a falsification of documents. It could happen in the workplace, in school, and businesses. There is a moral intent of doing it. Only the person can defy the possible charges in case he or she is caught doing such an act. In case it happens in school, it's their sons or daughters doing this intentionally to acquire the balance or change the school's tuition so their parents could add more amount. The parents may be blind but what if they go to the school and learn the truth, their kids may surely be punished if they proceed to the cashier's section to file a complaint for over-charging. As to the falsifier, he or she will be charged with criminal offenses together with the proponent of the falsification when reported. On the other hand, parents may punish their kids but never would they charge the school because they are also victims of their kids. Parental guidance is necessary to guide the kids to a modest life. Imagine yourself having a child tampering with school dues to get more money from you, how would you feel? And to parents, instead of relying on a statement of account or receipt presented by your kids, you might want to confirm it at the business office through a phone call or drop by the school. Kids doing that crime might be expelled and for an employee dismissal from work.
