The report said that the Philippines Accuses China of Hitting the Vessel. A Chinese ship collided with a Filipino vessel in the South China Sea near the disputed Sabina Shoal. The Chinese Coast Guard fired water cannons at Filipino ships.

The report added that the Philippine Coast Guard released a video of the collision that shows a Chinese ship approaching & ramming into a Filipino vessel. The Philippines said its ships, carrying supplies for Filipino fishermen, encountered "aggressive & dangerous maneuvers". Manila also accused Beijing of firing flares at its aircraft earlier this month.

However, the Chinese Coast Guard said the Filipino vessel refused to comply with "control measures" and "deliberately" collided with its ship. Beijing said that Manila attempted to deliver supplies to "illegally stationed" vessels. The latest clash undermines peace efforts from both sides.

China's aggression to claim the West Philippine Sea and the South China Sea all belong to the Philippines continues to escalate. The Chinese vessels continued to harass the Filipino fishermen and there were times they were blocked to pass the West Philippe Sea.
