Amidst tension between the Philippines and China in claiming the West Ph Sea as belonging to China, the Ph government also defended that it belongs to the Philippines. Just consider the distance between the West Philippine Sea only 100 meters away compared to the distance between the Ph Sea and China which is 1000 meters away. It is very obvious, the distance alone can answer the ownership of the West Philippine Sea now China called the South China Sea and it is where the Ph government plans to develop a domestic airport for the tourist destination.
