Police in India are into unlawful activities to extract money.

The recent stamped in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, for which the Telgu actor Arjun Allu was arrested was a trick just to extract money from him. The police denied police protection to the theater owner even after he applied for it. This was nothing but a scheme to extract money from both the theater owner and the celebrity.

I think police in India is far better than the ones in Nigeria and other African countries. In fact, police is synonymous with corruption and crime. But i have observed that generally, police as institution is a necessary evil we cannot do without.

Do theater owners and celebrities not have or hire lawyers, and generally theater owners or big businessmen have been protected by police officers and army officers with the rank of general, of course by paying tribute every month, so that they are safe from harassment by low-ranking police.

Why is a celebrity being outsmarted by a police? He's not a wise celebrity. The police is also hungry of money. That police does not deserve to wear his uniform. He's a public enemy.
