Poverty is a choice not an obligation agree or disagree,

How can poverty be a choice? The statement don't make sense to me at all. Honestly, nobody with his clean eyes will choose poverty. Poverty is caused by a lot of factors which are independent of each other. Poverty can be caused by lack of knowledge, exposure, making wrong choice, lack of finance to start up business etc.

Personally I don't think poverty is a choice, cause there are people who are born into a poor home, rather not doing anything about the situation you are in is a choice.

Saying poverty is a choice oversimplifies a complex reality. Many people are limited by education gaps, lack of jobs, and unstable systems around them. Personal decisions matter, but they exist inside real constraints. Choice plays a role, yet opportunity is uneven. Poverty is often inherited through circumstance, not freely selected by those living in it
