In recent news, the president of Nigeria Tinubu urges the Nigerian youths to dream big, promising to give them the wings to fly. But this statement was ment with doubts and disbelief as majority of the Nigerian youths do not have trust in the Nigerian government anh5 longer.

That is a big slap to your government. People no longer believe the slippery tongue of Tinubo, good only in telling without doing. It's the same in my country, the president keeps a blind eye to the corrupt politicians.

What is the reason why don't the youths trust the government?
Because the government has failed us time and over again, they only make promises but do not have any plans on actually fulfilling these promises.

Everywhere the government does the same. They promise certain things and forget once they win elections.

Yes it's so unfortunate this is what they do, hence people don't bother believing what they say. This is what is happening with the Nigerian youth as well.

After several years we have got a PM who listens to common people and think about them.

Congratulations on that, to have someone like that is very rare and thus i consider this a huge blessing to have as a country.

Yes, it is a huge blessing. Havent you heard of Mr Modi PM of india?

Nigerian youths do not have trust in the Nigerian government any longer. This is the new state of things
We can't blame them, mate. Even in my country, there's always protest demanding the president to step down because he can't resolve the high prices of commodities. It's too much already. Thankfully, the government import tons of rice in Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia. The price is sold cheap.

Yeah that's it mate, it is just bad for the common man. The high prices of things is just worrisome

Correct, many are wondering why the prices cannot be controlled under Marcos Administration. Why is it that during the Duterte Admin President Duterte was able to order the businesses to lower down their prices. It seems our current president is weak.

With the population Nigeria have now and the corrupt systems there how do you want the youths to dream high ..shouldn't the government be puting more efforts on creating employment for the youths and also focus on how they can make money in different sectors
