presume you want to learn business in order to succeed at business. If this is the case then the easiest and ONLY way to learn business is this:

Join one or start one.

Everything else learned about business is abstraction, narrative and other people's editorials... in other words, not the real thing.

As to colleges, trade schools, workshops and all others with advice, the best time for aligning other people's knowledge, theories and thoughts about business is after you have some solid evidence of a specific business, learned by direct experience of that business' fundamentals in action.

I completely agree with that perspective. The best way to truly learn business is by getting your hands dirty, whether by joining an existing business or starting your own. Direct experience is invaluable because it allows you to understand in practice how things work, what the real challenges are, and which strategies are effective. Everything you learn in courses, workshops, or by reading theories is useful, but it doesn't replace practical experience. Most theoretical ideas remain just that—ideas—if you don't validate them in the real world. Furthermore, starting a business teaches you lessons that no classroom can offer: from customer management to resource management and resilience in the face of unforeseen events. That's why I believe the biggest investment in your business learning should be in experimenting, making mistakes, and learning on the job. Only then do you truly understand what works and what doesn't.

If you keep talking about business without actually being part of a business, you can't know anything about business. You can also get a job in the kind of business that you want to have knowledge about to learn there.

This is very true. To understand auto mechanic business, step into an auto mechanic shop, intern there and get the experience about the business hands on.

One of the best ways to learn about business is to join one. This helps in giving you some real life experiences that can't be found else where.
