The city of Rourkela has a number of private hospitals. Since services in government hospitals are horrible people go to private hospitals. These hospitals have started taking exorbitant admission fee and they treat the patient and his family members cruelly.
In Apollo, one of the private hospitals they wanted to discharge a serious patient from the ICU at the dead of the night, at around 2.30 am. They also denied to accept cashless treatment throughout a health card and demanded 2 lakhs for admission into the hospital. The people of my city who have been affected should sue such a hospital in the court of law.

What you describe reflects serious abuse by some private hospitals. In such cases, patients and families can organize to file complaints with health and regulatory authorities, in addition to going to court to demand sanctions and compensation. Class action lawsuits may be a more effective way to curb such abusive practices and force hospitals to respect patients' rights.

That's cruelty, it never happened here in my country. The hospital you mentioned has an inhumane administrator. The fees are calculated once the patient is about to discharge. The people there better burn that hospital hehe joke. I'm just angry.

The health department will not help them as they are getting their share of bribe. These people should go to the police and then court.

Such hospital should be reported to the police the workers arrested for wrong behavior or suspended for treating patients like this

They keep the police force in their pockets by bribing them. It's the media that exposes them but the affected seldom get justice.

That's so not fair, why would these private hospitals be treating their patients cruelly. Maybe if the government deals with some of them, the others would change.
