Tire and tube repair is a common service provided around my city. However, I'm curious how lucrative this vulcanizing business actually is long term in most places. For auto mechanics and shop owners, do you find it to be a good way to supplement your business? Or are profit margins quite small after expenses? Please share your experience.

I have never tried this business myself, so I can't really say for sure, but I have seen a lot of people doing it, and there is a particular man I have noticed who has been into this business for more than ten years if am not mistaken. I doubt anyone would do such business if they aren't making anything reasonable from it.
