Publishing a phone number online

In situations like that, I'd be very careful. Posting the caller's number online might seem like a way to get quick help, but it can also create problems—like privacy concerns, legal issues, or even retaliation from the person harassing you. A better option is to **document everything** (save call logs, voicemails, and messages), and then report it to your local authorities or your telecom provider. They usually have ways to block or trace such numbers.
If the messages are in Hindi and you don't understand them, you could use a translator app or ask someone who speaks the language just to be sure what's being said. But honestly, if it feels threatening, you don't need to fully understand the words—just treat it seriously and let the authorities handle it

I have studied Hindi in school and college, I am not a native speaker though most people think so. The caller is using some slang words which I do not understand for threatening and I do not know what he means. He does not appear to know fluent English.

If someone is making threatening phone calls, sending messages, is it advisable to post the callers number online trying to get help. The caller is sending garbled messages in Hindi which I cannot understand.
Sorry about that. It's not safe to post the suspect's number online—it can lead to legal problems. Instead, keep all evidence and report it to the police or relevant authorities. They have the power to investigate and take appropriate action. Protect your safety first.
