Hearing about refugees running from war always gets to me. I'm amazed the strength of people who can go through this and also angry because they are not getting the help they need. It feels as if it's harder to cross borders these days. People's opinions on refugees is not very welcoming. But these are humans who just want a safer life. I think that helping migrants should be about doing what's right, not about politics. If we give refugees a chance, they can make our communities better. But often, people are mean to them instead of being nice. To me, their stories remind us how easily human rights can be taken away when politics is in charge. Will the world ever be less afraid and more caring when it makes rules about migration?
