Residents in Jos informed to be careful as hyena escape from its cage in the zoo

The Management of the Plateau State Tourism Corporation has announced the escape of a hyena from its cage at the Jos Wildlife Park.

This was announced after the animal was discovered missing.
The Jos wildlife park is known as one of Plateau’s topmost tourist attractions and a place in Nigeria where nature has been conserved.

This is cautionary measure to safeguard the public and help in getting back the animal.

I think the news is irrelevant because hyena and other wild animals use to roam in Plateau and other northern regions of Nigeria. Even in zamfara state, there are tigers and other dangerous animals.

The wild animals invasion to human inhabitants has become widely spread here in my country. In our case we face disturbances from elephants every now and then here. Unfortunately the relevant authorities have nothing to do about that for sure.
